Corrections Policy

Last Updated: September 12, 2025

The Globe Buzz is committed to accuracy and accountability.
Despite our best efforts, errors can occur. This policy explains how we handle them.

1. Reporting Errors

  • Readers can report factual errors or omissions by emailing
corrections@theglobebuzz.com or using the Contact Us form.
  • Please include a link to the article and a clear description of the issue.

2. Review Process

  • All correction requests are reviewed by an editorial team member.
  • If an error is confirmed, we will correct the content as quickly as possible.

3. Types of Corrections

  • Minor edits (typos, grammar, formatting) may be fixed silently.
  • Substantive changes (facts, names, dates, figures) are accompanied by a correction note at the end of the article.

4. Updates

  • When a story develops, we may update the article with new information.
  • Updates are timestamped and labeled as “Update” to distinguish from corrections.

5. Retractions

  • In rare cases where a story is fundamentally flawed, it may be retracted.
  • A retraction notice will replace the original article to maintain transparency.
