Despite our best efforts, errors can occur. This policy explains how we handle them.
1. Reporting Errors
- Readers can report factual errors or omissions by emailing
corrections@theglobebuzz.com or using the Contact Us form. - Please include a link to the article and a clear description of the issue.
2. Review Process
- All correction requests are reviewed by an editorial team member.
- If an error is confirmed, we will correct the content as quickly as possible.
3. Types of Corrections
- Minor edits (typos, grammar, formatting) may be fixed silently.
- Substantive changes (facts, names, dates, figures) are accompanied by a correction note at the end of the article.
4. Updates
- When a story develops, we may update the article with new information.
- Updates are timestamped and labeled as “Update” to distinguish from corrections.
5. Retractions
- In rare cases where a story is fundamentally flawed, it may be retracted.
- A retraction notice will replace the original article to maintain transparency.
